Arrival-We chose to arrive via helicopter due to the numerous comments on length and car sickness potential. St Lucia helicopters was wonderful. It was an 11 minute flight. We arrived at the resort less than 1.5 hours upon hitting customs. Highly recommend this!!
At the resort we were immediately greeted by Travelsmart agents and immediately taken by golf cart to the diamond club for check in. We arrived before normal check in so we were then escorted to the diamond club beach bar for lunch and drinks. Our butler then escorted us to our gorgeous room in bldg 8 in the chairmans rooms.
We are Travelsmart members so that means we are auto Diamonclub. We had a 2 bedroom chairmans suite room 8402 which was gorgeous. Housekeeping was superb, zero complaints. I urge all to remember everyone in this resort is working for tips. I know it’s all inclusive but great service should always be recognized. We have been to the Mexico and Dominican resorts and love them all can’t wait to got to Negril in December!
