My husband and I returned this past week from a wonderful 2 week stay at The Hideaway at Royalton, St. Lucia. Our Travel Smart group, Keitha, Sadie and Nadine couldn’t do enough for us! These women treated us like family right from the moment we set foot on the resort. We were celebrating our 46th wedding anniversary and they had our room all decorated for the occasion! Everyday they came to check on us at least twice to make sure we were happy and comfortable.
During our first week at the resort we spoke to several couples who were not Travel Smart or Diamond Club members. They commented to us that they needed to pay for the Diamond Club upgrade to get any type of service from the beach bar people. This is a costly upgrade and its a shame they felt they had to pay additional cost to get the service they were entitled to.
We have been members of the Travel Smart Diamond Club for over 5 years now and are well aware of and love wonderful and friendly service that Travel Smart offers. The Travel Smart Diamond Club people were friendly and outgoing, while we felt the regular Royalton staff need a bit more training to bring them up to the standard of the Royalton Travel Smart family. Would we go back to St. Lucia? Yes! Enjoy your trip and make sure you take comfortable shoes and lots of water if you are going to walk to the Pigeon Island National Park.
