Our stay at the Royalton Bavaro was an amazing experience, thanks to the hard work of the many staff there. We arrived as guests of TravelSmart members and upgraded to Diamond Club, which made the experience so much more enjoyable. On Day 1 we were welcomed by Juan, our butler, and Esther, our Member Services representative, who made sure that our stay was as smooth as possible. Because we were Diamond Club members, our dinner reservations were all made in advance by our team, we had an upgraded room in a central location, and we had access to the Diamond Club lounge with its own snacks and alcoholic drinks/espresso bar. We also had access to the DC Bar & Grill right beside the beach.
This resort is beautiful. The beach was cleaned on a daily basis, the waters were crystal clear blue, and there were always spaces for us to make ourselves comfortable. The buildings are well tended to, and our room was cleaned three times a day.
The food was great – every night we had incredible service from all team members, who make it their mission to give us the best experience possible. There are various options for eating at the Royalton, which meant we never got tired of the cuisine. Every bartender was welcoming, especially Darlin and Emmanuel, who remembered us and not only made our drinks well, but quickly too! We are so thankful to them for making our experience so fun and enjoyable.
Every single one of the workers at this resort really go out of their way to answer any questions you may have, and make this vacation as pleasant as possible. I give the Royalton Bavaro my highest recommendations, and thank the entire team, especially Juan, Esther, Darlin, and Emmanuel.
