Royalton Antigua

We traveled on a family vacation to the Royalton Antigua from 1/25-2/1. We are travelsmart members and this is our 3rd property we are vacationing at with the Royalton. We had an amazing trip to say the least. The hotel itself is very clean, the weather was excellent, the beach was beautiful and the food was great. Constant attention to the room every day with housekeeping. Needed extras of shampoo and conditioner and we were given plenty. We needed a toothbrush and got one right away after asking. We got our room changed to the top floor as requested the following day. Our travelsmart team had our room set up perfectly for our birthday celebration with champagne, wine, cake, treats and balloons. The weather was perfectly sunny with temps at 81 every day and no humidity. At night it was very comfortable with a nice breeze, no jackets needed. The beach view was incredible, never had issues finding a space to occupy…no harassment of beach vendors. Water was so clear and beautiful. Non motorized sports of kayaking and snorkeling was awesome through Nexxus. Shout out to Dante for an awesome 1hr jet ski tour down the coast. All 3 a la cart restaurants we fantastic. Grazie (Italian) was great located right on the water…only issue we had was that we sat at 8pm and nobody came over to us until we said something at 830pm…there was a mix up with the wait staff on who was servicing our table. No big deal after we addressed it everything was great. Hunters (steakhouse) was incredible. Filet mignone was made as ordered medium rare and flavored perfectly with fettuccini already on the side as I made a special request. The Caesar salad for starters was great. Caribbean restaurant was awesome. This restaurant also on the water. I literally ordered everything on the appetizer menu and it was amazing. We enjoyed the variety at the buffet as well. The beach dinner was nice as well as the entertainment. It was just enough for us to end our nights around 10pm after a long day….we are not party folk! No issues with drinks although we are also not big drinkers so stuck to daiquiris, pina coladas and pink lemonades. The grill during the day over by the diamond club could stand some improvement with their variety. We ended up in a bungalow lastly and it was truly amazing! We even had Grazie bring us dinner on our last night to our room, setting up our table and everything. Whatever we asked for no matter what it was we were absolutely accommodated. You guys all made us feel like family and went above and beyond…we love you and we will see you again!
